Today you'll visit Tarangire, Tanzania's third-largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. We will spend 2 days here doing safari in the national and a cultural visit within the semi-nomadic tribes around the area.

At Tarangire National Park you will experience an unrivalled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs. Not only does the meandering Tarangire River attract a vast number of wildlife, but the Park is renowned for its huge elephant herds, enabling visitors to see entire herds of elephant families.

One of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five – elephants, leopards, lions, buffalo and the rare black rhinoceroses is the ancient Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa's "Garden of Eden," is home to almost every species in Africa... except the giraffe, which can't negotiate the steep incline down into the caldera but will be seen at the rim of the crater. Game drives and a unique picnic lunch on the crater floor offer ample opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, hippos and lots of birds.

Serengeti National Park is the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world and boasts the greatest concentration of plains game in all of Africa. Established in 1952, it is home to the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The Park can be divided into 3 sections:

The southern/central part (Seronera Valley) with its classic savannah dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife.

The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River, and has more forests and dense bush.

The north, which meets with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve, is the least visited section.

After breakfast, you will venture the corners of the mighty Serengeti plains for a full-day game drive, following the great migration and spotting prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards and so much more. !

On this day you’ll a morning drive to Seronera airport to catch your flight to Arusha. Upon your arrival at the Arusha airport. You'll be met by your guide, who will take you to lunch and then transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Kigali.

Today you will take a Kigali City Tour which includes a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial site, art center, and local market. Kigali Genocide Memorial site in Gisozi, a place of remembrance and learning, honoring victims of genocide against the Tutsi and ensure that it never happens again. It’s the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the genocide against the Tutsi. Here you will be able to visit the three permanent exhibitions, the largest of which documents the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The Education Centre, Gardens, and Genocide Archive of Rwanda form part of a meaningful tribute to those who perished, and provide a powerful educational tool for visitors. Have lunch at Heaven Restaurant – Kiyovu, then have a 2hr 30min drive to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park.
